Race Calender: 2008 E.A. Summer Regional Dates + Replacement Winter Series Date.

The 08 East Anglia Summer Series dates have been set.
Firstly though..
A replacement winter series round to make up for our lost race at Norwich has been scheduled for Peterborough on the 16th of March.
So the remainder of the Winter Series now looks like this..

Round 4 – 17th February – Braintree
Round 5 – 9th March – Ipswich
Round 6 – 16th March – Peterborough

Spring Classic – 6th April- Royston ( Please Note:The Spring classic is a one off race, no series points but trophies instead :-)

Ok onto the 08 Summer Series Dates..
Round 1 – 20th April – Milton Keynes
Round 2 – 11th May – Mansfield (Midlands/EA inter-regional)
Round 3 – 25th May – Braintree
Round 4 – 15th June – Peterborough (EA/Midlands inter-regional)
Round 5 – 22nd June – Hayes (South/EA inter-regional)
Round 6 – 6th July – Milton Keynes (EA/South inter-regional)
Round 7 – 13th July – Royston
Round 8 – 20th July – Ipswich
Round 9 – 3rd August – Norwich
Round 10 – 10th August – Peterborough

EA Club Championships – 21st September – Ipswich

Any of the 10 rounds of the summer series can count towards Your British Championships qualification and your series ranking. You must do 5 rounds to qualify for the Brit’s, and 6 rounds to get an end of series ranking and trophy.

These dates are Provisional but almost concrete!

22-23 March Round 1 and 2 Burnham-On-Sea
26-27 April Round 3 Cheddar
17-18 May Round 4 and 5 Mansfield
7-8 June Round 6 Chesterfield
28-29 June Round 7 Hartlepool
26-27 July Round 8 and 9 Burnham-On-Sea
13-14 Sept Round 10 and 11 Mid Lancs
11-12 Oct Round 12 Preston
Preston – possible 2 moto transfer system to accommodate presentation)

23-24 August British Championships Peterborough

Rounds to count Not fully discussed,but looks like 7 rounds to count from 12 events (no in concrete as yet!). If we end up with 11 events, it’ll probably still be 7 to count.
